Managed by the Corp of Engineers (COE) the park is popular in season. No hookups at the sites a restroom with showers is available. The park roads and pads are all dirt and it can be loose and dusty. Each site has a picnic table and fire rings. Up near the entrance is a dump station which is accessible to any size RV. Trails lead down to the rivers edge where a swim beach is available along with a boat launch. Overall the park is best suited tent camping, truck camping and small RV camping. The park is located on a hillside so elevation changes are pretty steep limiting navigation and access to smaller RVs (although large RVs can fit with some care – the largest site is 45′ long and there is only 1 of those the remainder are 35′ or less). The campground has 2 loops with sites all tucked in the trees. We stayed one night at Springy Point and then moved on to Fairchild AFB in Washington near Spokane.
